Nine individually characterised and designed family homes located in the village of Walberton. The two-storey homes feature varying materials, compositions, and façade treatments echoing the vernacular architecture of the wider setting. LITTLE TEAGUES FARM
LEWES ROAD, SCAYNES HILL, HAYWARDS HEATH RH17 7NG
The project involved the conversion a former simple chicken barn into a mixed scheme of five homes. The planning consents required the new design to follow the footprint, shape and form of the original building. The scheme fully embraced the high roof pitches with vaulted ceilings and the internal layouts made great use of the setting. Finished to high standards and sympathetically designed, the properties incorporated Air Source Heat Pumps, MVHR, Solar PV & Underfloor Heating which achieved A rated Energy Performance.

PARK AVENUE
25 PRESTON PARK AVENUE, BRIGHTON BN1 6HG
A reimagination of a park-side mansion block – the original Victorian villa was constructed c1895 as a large home in Preston Park. Once one of three identical villas, two were sadly lost in the 1970s when they were demolished. You Are Home purchased the site in 2021 with a view to provide nine new homes – two new modern homes and seven apartments – whilst also safeguarding and restoring the original building’s façade.

Now a collection of six converted and new build traditional Sussex barns, keeping as many original features as possible.

A development of five energy-efficient homes in the South Downs National Park following the demolition of two pairs of semi-detached Alms Houses. The new homes comprise three detached and two semi-detached properties, individually designed, with materials carefully selected to match the existing architecture of the village. A large amount of green space was also allocated to create a balance between the built environment and the surrounding nature.
