EXTERNAL REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO ‘THE HOO’

The Hoo is an exceptional Grade I listed building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens with a Grade II* registered park and garden created in partnership with Gertrude Jekyll. Originally constructed in 1902, it became a girls’ school before being converted into 11 flats in 1955. The recent works consisted of external repairs and improvements to elevations and roof covering including 194 individual window repairs and major repairs to the four Oriel windows.
