BELLOC CLOSE, MIDHURST

Four new homes built on the site of an ambulance station. King & Drury worked closely with MH Architects to create a contemporary scheme within the historic town of Midhurst. Ground levels were reduced so that the new houses sit low behind the street scheme and within the original outline of the ambulance station.

17-19 & 21-24 REGENT STREET, BRIGHTON BN1 1UL 

A central position in Brighton’s North Laine conservation area, this is a contemporary mixed-use development was a complex project taking seven years to complete. The final scheme included access to adjacent properties, bin/bike stores, commercial ground floor uses, while still creating four 3-storey apartments with their own street entrances and roof terraces.

THE DOWER HOUSE, SHOVELSTRODE MANOR, SHOVELSTRODE LANE, EAST GRINSTEAD RH19 3PH 

Shovelstrode Manor is a locally listed Non- Designated Heritage Asset built in 1906. The building was to be adapted and restored with a reconfiguration of internal building layout and new single storey additions, to allow for the adaptation of The Dower House and attached back-of-house spaces to form two dwellings, with a self-contained third floor carer’s suite.

CHIDFIELD BARN LONDON ROAD, PETWORTH GU28 9EG

The site was granted planning permission for the demolition of modern barns with change of use. Converting, repairing and restoration of the Victorian barns to create seven residential dwellings.

1-3 SMITHS YARD 20 NORTH END, DITCHLING BN6 8TF

The project comprised the demolition and clearance of a number of derelict buildings and the construction of three new residential properties around a discrete courtyard. The new dwellings have been carefully integrated into the village by retaining and incorporating some of the existing flint, screen walls and blending with the complicated roofscape of the existing buildings.
