ST JAMES CENTRE, CHURCH LANE, BIRDHAM, CHICHESTER


The brief was to provide a multi-functional series of spaces for the Grade I listed church, with a replacement of an existing extension. The St James centre is faced with brick and lime mortar, large lime rendered panels and all beneath a handmade clay tiled roof.

ST PETER AD VINCULA WISBOROUGH GREEN, SUSSEX RH14 0EA

A Grade I listed church which was re-ordered to include new toilets, two vestries, a refreshment area and full height glazed entrance doors. The initial concept designs were prepared by The Goddard Partnership and glass artist Mel Howse, developed the designs for the new vestries.

ST PETER’S CHURCH, THE STREET, WEST FIRLE, LEWES BN8 6LP

A Grade I listed Building dating back to 10th-century, although the existing building is mostly 13th-century with some 14th-century additions. The aim of the project was to provide an extension for visitor facilities, including lavatories and a kitchen area, to support church and community activities.

THE QUIRE ROOF PROJECT CHICHESTER CATHEDRAL, CHICHESTER WEST SUSSEX PO19 1PX

The re-covering of the Quire roof at the Cathedral, is the first phase in a sequence of work to the roofs of the building. The copper roof coverings were removed and replaced with lead to the high Quire roof, and to the low Quire aisle roofs, using cast lead of the thickest type available.
