HANNINGTONS LANE, BRIGHTON BN1 1GS

A mixed-use commercial redevelopment, comprising retail, residential, office and restaurant units. The new Lane was envisaged as a compliment and extension to Brighton’s famous ‘Lanes’ rejuvenating a disused service yard. Additionally, regenerating North Street, knitting into the historic Lanes, improving wider linkages and the public realm were other key aims.

LADY BEE ENTERPRISE CENTRE, ALBION STREET, SOUTHWICK BN42 4ED

The complete redevelopment of a reclaimed parcel of land with the brief to create a flagship project which provided small business units for local companies to rent. The Centre comprises three two-storey buildings with a contemporary interpretation of an industrial building creating a benchmark for future architecture in and around Shoreham Port.

THE OLD STABLES, HOME FARM, PIPPINGFORD PARK, NUTLEY TN22 3HW

To repair an 1850’s disused farm building and repurpose whilst changing the appearance of the original building as little as possible. The conversion to office use used oak beams produced on the estate and using new handmade peg tiles since none of the originals had survived.

HIGHLY COMMENDED

ALISTAIR FLEMING DESIGN SHOWROOM, 41 CLIFFE HIGH STREET, LEWES BN7 2AN

The building is a Grade II listed foundry, converted to a showroom and studio by Alistair Fleming Design, who specialise in bespoke kitchens and furniture. The project lasting 19 months involved researching the heritage, moving a staircase and toilets, collaborating with 16 local business, whilst designing, making and fitting all furniture to the iconic building.

BROOKLANDS QUAD, BROOKLANDS FARM, ROCKY LANE, HAYWARDS HEATH RH16 4RR

The brief was to rescue and restore a redundant farmyard, with the original building dating from 1847 as signified by the key stone on the Northern Wall. Restoring the original Hythe sandstone, the building was designed to suit modern working needs, comprising three separate units or one single office for flexible working space.

THE BUZZARDRY MARKLYE, RUSHLAKE GREEN TN21 9PN

The Buzzardry is a unique stay treehouse holiday let at the Marklye Estate. The treehouse has been designed to make the most of the natural woodland and views. Features include 18 windows of various sizes, a spiral staircase leading to a deck, a spacious living area and log burner.
