A crescent of five family houses built to compliment the first phase of nine flats on the site with associated shared landscape, community facilities and biomass district heating. Constructed using Porotherm clay blocks with rockwool insulation and finished with a self-coloured silica render.

WALKERS REST, STAR LANE, ALFRISTON BN26 5TE

Formally the Alfriston Garage site, the village garage for over 50 years, whose main core was an early 19th-century brick and flint barn. All modern additions were removed to reveal the original barn, then renovated and converted into five houses and a Walkers Bothy.

FLATS 1-9, 51B SHIP STREET, BRIGHTON BN1 1AF

A Grade II listed building located within the Old Town Conservation Area, was damaged extensively during a squatter occupation, and the exterior building fabric badly deteriorated. Identified as a building at risk, works were carried out to restore, refurbish and convert to residential use.

IVY HOUSE AND ILEX HOUSE, LEWES

The land dates back to 1598, with the Grade II listed building becoming residential properties until the mid-20th Century when it became office space. The building expresses its two halves very clearly with original features being restored and protected throughout the property.

Sensitive conversion of the former historic public house/restaurant building into residential accommodation for creative directors and their teams, engaged in preparing for productions at the Chichester Festival Theatre. This entailed providing 11 private ensuite rooms, complemented by shared kitchen, dining, lounge and garden spaces.
