RESTORATION OF ELIZABETHAN AND JACOBEAN TERRACE AT DOVECOTE GARDEN, WEST DEAN NEAR ALFRISTON
Restoring the Terrace garden scheme to its origins was the project planned outcome. Identifying the site as an Elizabethan and Jacobean laid out Terrace Walk led to the replanting with species of the era. The later hothouse and hotbed horticulture design was also conserved.
