National Mills Weekend – Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May
National Mills Weekend takes place across the UK every May, when more than 300 windmills and watermills are usually open to public to celebrate our milling heritage.
In 2022 the Sussex Heritage Trust and Heritage Crafts awarded a trainee millwright an Endangered Crafts Fund Grant.
There are four windmills to visit in Sussex: Windmill Hill, Oldland Windmill, West Blatchington Willmill and Jill Windmill (Adam is pictured at Jill Windmill here).
