Experience the captivating world of Neil Holland’s art and architecture in his new exhibition, “Spirit of Sussex: The Art and Architecture of Neil Holland.”  Neil, a patron of Sussex Heritage trust, brings forth a unique blend of his architectural expertise and artistic talent.  His contextual architecture, which harmoniously blends new structures with their historical and natural surroundings, has garnered an imporessive 60 Awards.  Meanwhile, Neil’s profound connection to the landscapes he has built in is beautifully depicted in his watercolour paintings.  Neil has been motivated to capture a ‘spirit of place’, so that his watercolours, rich in colour, pattern and distorted perspectives produce an image with the quality of memory, translating the landscape into a place where our experience is not merely visual, but emotional.   In an urbanised world, his work encourages us to cherish and preserve our natural heritage and sense of identity.

The exhibition will be held at the Oxmarket Gallery in Chichester from 9th to 29th October.
